Hell of an evening! This time in the good sense!

This night we had visitors from out of town. Several. And most of them ancillae. Mind you, one could safely ignore about half of them. But the other half was hell to have around.

One of them was Countess Lehndorff-Bruni and her husband. Her? For a change she didn’t pick on my manners and why I sometimes have to neglect them. I tried hard to be a good boy that night! Paid off too. Her husband shares my sense of humor. Her reaction… Couldn’t tell. She was out of sight most of the time.

As for said husband? He has a task for some of us. Difficult too. I’ll have to stick my head out and in places I didn’t want to go for a very long time. On the other hand it’s fascinating! Just like truth or dare. Never was good at existing the daring part.

Freddy was present as well. Looked a bit burned up. Seems to be getting better though. And Alena was there too. I managed to miss her singing again. However, that keeps the tension up. With her I like the games. Though I’m pretty sure she’ll try and break my neck at some point.

Also gave my opinion on Coraline’s singing. Might even be it’ll be good getting along with her. Curious to see how that’ll go on.

In the meantime Alessandro is having my back. Promissed to behave on that evening. Even got into a suit. In exchange he’d thwart everyone who’d speak against me for not paying proper attention to etiquette out of bad eye-sight. Obviously though it’s hard for people to remember that I can’t see too well, despite the eye patch. People can be so ignorant sometimes. Only goes to show in further examples such as America of that evening. Manipulation is easy when done right. It’s just another form of art. One they can’t seem to comprehend.

The plans for Kassel are stalling right now. I had hoped to see Shiraz on that very evening. For some reason he wasn’t there though. I’m hoping nothing happened to him. For the time being all I can do is wait though…´I hate that.
