February 2nd 2063 – A very ordinary Run

There is more to be seen in the City of Wasted Waters. Harrydick introduced me to a group of runners.

Basically the group consists of five people: A dwarf, a man dressed in a strange red coat, a woman who just keeps on smiling, an elf covered in fur – and Sandwind.

The Cardinal – that is what they call the man in the red coat – and HarryDick told us to meet in one of the local bars. Those places are the greatest waste of water I have ever seen… People move without purpose and drink liquids that drain the body of water. It does not make any sense at all. HarrdyDick and the Cardinal said to meed in the one place with the important name in the beginning. Only there were two. One by the name of “Butts and Boobs”, the other “Boobs and Butts”. Which is odd, because neither means water… We did manage to gather there and talk a little about the run the Cardinal would have us perform. The elf asked me about religion. I will have to explain this some other time though.

Also the Cardinal is the man hiring the group for this run. Which meant that we went to see his… lodgings. It is a very confusing mixture of unnecessary furniture. None of the things he keeps around himself seems to serve an important purpose. Yet the other were impressed. I cannot see why.

When we were finally prepared to gather some data about the building we were to enter we were caught and followed by a LoneStar patrol. The dwarf got rid of them quickly enough though.

Some time later we finally got on site. The others seemed reluctant at first, so meanwhile I climbed one of the nearby storage units and tried to pick up how many men patrolled there. I had no idea what the others were up to.

The dwarf has no qualms over killing someone. Which is good. The elf, however… He hesitates too much. I am sure something can be done about it though. He has had too much water and knows no value of it. He will be taught. Soon.
